After graduating high school Chrystal
tried on a few different hats for size, including waitress,
collections representative, and daycare provider. In 2003,
she attended a Microsoft Certified Systems Administration
course and found she had a knack for computers.
A
geek was born.
Chrystal
spent over a year at Cumulus Broadcasting honing her technical
skills and learning the ins and outs of show business.
Though she grew up in a "radio family" and loved
every minute of the live-by-the-minute lifestyle, she
knew that bigger things waited for her back home. In 2005,
she joined the Help Desk at The Boeing Company and found
a home with her fellow technophiles. She is currently
studying for her Associates Degree in Business and Information
Systems.
No
matter what hat she donned, Chrystal's first love has
always been reading and writing. Beverly Clearly evolved
into Christopher Pike, and later she favored the heftier
John Saul and Dean Koontz novels. She wrote short stories
and poems and even dabbled in journalism one semester
in high school. Then, during Christmas break, she scoured
her mother's bookshelf and found her first romance novel.
Virginia Henley kept her enthralled for thirty-six hours
straight and she never looked back.
Chrystal's
first book, I'll
Do Anything, was signed with Triskelion
Publishing in August 2005. She loves what
she does and she thanks God everyday for the gift of creativity
that she has received and for the opportunity to share
it with others.
